Preheat oven to 225 C/440 F. In a medium bowl combine: 2 c. flour, 1 tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp sugar. Cube 60 g butter and uniformly work it into the flour mixture. Stir in 1/2 c. of cream & finish pulling together the dough with your hands (you will probably need to add a bit more cream at this point). Press dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking tray, forming a circle of about 8”, then cut into eighths. Separate the wedges slightly and bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Enjoy with butter, jam & a dollop of cream.

To make the sourdough starter, I followed the directions on this website.

For a gorgeous glass of vitamin C, I squeeze two to three oranges (and half a lime when I have one).
